Shelton Athletic FC joins The FA elite

Shelton Athletic Treated to Presentation on Chelsea Pitch
Shelton Athletic FC were rewarded for all their hard work in achieving FA Charter Standard status by receiving the prestigious award at Stamford Bridge from Chelsea legend Ron Harris.
The former Blues captain presented the Surrey side with their plaque at half-time during Chelseas clash with Fulham in the League Cup, which the home side just edging the win after a thrilling penalty shoot out.
Phil Bee, Will Tambling, Eddie OConnell, Mark Pierce, Codie OConnell, Robbie Tambling, Liam Tambling, Harry Bee, Joe Bee and Charley Bee were the lucky representatives from Shelton to tread on the hallowed turf and meet the Chelsea legend.

The Warlingham club were formed in 2008 and in this short time have developed 12 boys teams and 1 girls side.

The FA Charter Standard Award recognises safe and quality clubs that are run well, while every team within the club are run by an FA qualified and CRB checked coach
